RAPTR Drop In

PRODUCT INFO

The RAPTR (Rapid Actuation Performance Trigger Reset) is a fully assembled, drop-in fire-control component engineered for the AR-15 platform. Its compact form factor combines hardened steel operating parts with reinforced carbon-fiber nylon components, resulting in a lightweight yet durable assembly that installs without additional sub-assembly.

Package Contents:

• Carbon-Fiber Nylon 3-Position Selector OR metal
• Preassembled Hardened Steel Activator and Lever

Platform Compatibility:

• Intended for AR-15 and AR-9 lowers with standard pocket dimensions only

• Low cut or M16 cut pockets ONLY
• Designed to function with mil-spec triggers without modification once properly fitted

This unit has been evaluated using receivers from PSA, Aero Precision, Anderson, Daniel Defense, Core15, and DPMS. As machining tolerances differ between manufacturers, individual fitment may vary.

Installation Guidance:

If resistance is encountered during installation, the right-side reset prong may be making contact with the disconnector. Minor outward adjustment with pliers will typically resolve this and allow proper seating. The internal layout is purposefully engineered to prevent DIAS-style alterations.

Break-In Recommendation:

Contact surfaces are left in a raw state from manufacturing. For best performance:
• Manually cycle or dry-fire the system 10–20 times to allow surfaces to mate naturally
• Optional light polishing of the lever's lower contact area may be performed to speed the break-in process

Buffer & Use Requirements:

• An H2 or H3 buffer is required; solid buffers should not be used
• Avoid holding the trigger rearward in a manner intended to simulate automatic fire, as this can increase component wear

Operating Principle:

The RAPTR functions through a mechanically enforced reset sequence with mandatory return-to-battery reset as a core design feature. Each discharge is mechanically tied to a complete reset and a subsequent trigger pull, maintaining semi-automatic operation.
