PRODUCT INFO

The Glock Forced Reset Trigger (FRT) is a high-performance aftermarket upgrade designed to significantly decrease split times and enhance the shooting rhythm of the Glock platform. By utilizing a mechanical reset assist, this trigger physically pushes the trigger blade back to the wall as the slide cycles, allowing for extremely rapid follow-up shots.

Broad Compatibility

This system is engineered to be universal across nearly the entire Glock lineup.

  • Generation Support: Compatible with Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4, and Gen 5 models.

  • Model Support: Fits standard, compact, sub-compact, and competition models (e.g., G17, G19, G26, G34, G43, G45, and more).

  • The Exception: This system is not compatible with any .22LR Glock models (such as the Glock 44 or .22LR conversion kits), as these utilize a different blowback action rather than the standard tilting barrel locking system.

Customization & Installation Requirements

Every build is different. Because Glocks are manufactured with varying tolerances across decades of production and hundreds of aftermarket slide combinations, this is a "tuner’s" component rather than a universal drop-in.

  • Internal Swapping: To achieve perfect timing, you may need to install or change specific parts. This often includes trying different connectors, striker springs, or trigger bars to find the "sweet spot" for your specific frame.

  • Tuning the Reset: Successful operation often requires a hands-on approach. This may involve light polishing or the use of specific weight recoil springs to ensure the slide has enough energy to force the reset consistently.

  • Gen 5 Considerations: Some Gen 5 installations may require the use of specific slide backplates or minor modifications to the slide release to ensure complete clearance and function.
